Michael Crabtree’s cousin and adviser recently announced that Crabtree is prepared to sit this year out if the 49ers are unable to offer him a high enough salary, despite assurances from his agent that no such threat exists. Just hours after his controversial statement Crabtree’s cousin, David Wells, also would not take a hint from Crabtree and others that it was time to leave the football player’s home. After a light lunch and conversation, Wells would not leave even after Crabtree told him, “Welp, looks like it’s about time to mow my lawn.”
